The Company

Twenty Years
of Moving
What Matters.

DEL Logistics and Transport Inc. was incorporated February 14, 2005 out of Miami's southwest corridor. From day one, the focus has been on specialized freight that demands more than a standard carrier.

Our Story

Built in Miami.
Running the Southeast.

Miami in 2005 was a different freight market. The port was growing, steel was moving, and most regional carriers were either too big to care about smaller specialized loads or too small to run the lanes reliably. DEL started in that gap.

The company's specialty in metal sheets, coils, and rolls came out of necessity — it's demanding cargo that most general carriers don't want. The rigging requirements are strict, the liability exposure is real, and you can't fake knowing what you're doing when a 20-ton coil is on your flatbed. We learned it right, and we built a reputation on it.

Today the fleet runs three trucks out of the 20051 SW 180 St yard — the same area we started in. We added machinery and motor vehicle transport over the years as customers asked for it and we built the equipment knowledge to do it properly.

"Small fleet is not a liability. It means every load gets attention that a 500-truck operation simply cannot provide."

History

20 Years,
One Standard.

2005
Founded — February 14, 2005

DEL Logistics and Transport Inc. incorporated in Florida. First unit operational out of Miami's southwest corridor. Interstate authority granted under MC 514636.

2008
Metal Coil Specialization

Invested in flatbed equipment and coil cradles. Started building a customer base in the steel service center and metal distribution market. PortMiami and Port Everglades pickups became regular operations.

2012
Heavy Machinery Transport Added

Expanded into industrial machinery and large-object transport. Construction equipment, generators, and fabricated components moved onto our service list as demand from manufacturing customers grew.

2015
Motor Vehicle Transport & Fleet Expansion

Added vehicle transport capability to serve dealer and fleet customers. Fleet expanded to three active units — the configuration we operate today.

2024
FMCSA Satisfactory Safety Rating — Zero Crashes

Closed our 20th year of operation with a clean FMCSA record. Satisfactory safety rating. Zero crashes on file. The safety record speaks to what's been consistent across two decades: deliberate load practices and drivers who take the work seriously.

How We Operate

What We Stand On

Direct Accountability

When you ship with DEL, you deal with us. Not a dispatcher chain, not a broker who found us on a load board. You get the company, the driver, and a direct line when something needs to be resolved.

Load Integrity

We take load securement seriously — not because regulations require it, but because our name is on the truck and our reputation is tied to what arrives at the receiver. Proper rigging is not optional.

20 Years of Consistency

Founded 2005. Same market, same standards. A carrier that survives two decades in Florida freight without a crash on record is doing something deliberately right — not getting lucky.
